Därför att måndag, 8 augusti är månadens första måndag, kommer Erik och jag att träffa varannan och dem bloggare som vill/kan på Storstad, som jag misstänker är väldigt nära Eriks bostad. Kl. 19.00. Det finns mycket att prata om.

Konstigt… här nere hade vi första måndagen redan på måndag 1 augusti…

Hmm. Och jag som trodde att Stockholm är alltid först med allt.
Following the discussion last night, I looked up the seven sins at deadlysins.com (note the vivid description). It turned out that they were originally made up by a Greek theologian, later on picked up by a 6th century pope. Although there was some kind of ranking in the sins, later theologians, such as Thomas Aquino (whom I personally value high) argued that no such dinstinction in gravity could be made. Om ni fortsätta idén som det var igar, sa kommer jag definitivt och lyssna!
So, here they are:
1. Pride is excessive belief in one’s own abilities, that interferes with the individual’s recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.
2.Envy is the desire for others’ traits, status, abilities, or situation.
3. Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.
4. Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.
5. Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.
6. Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.
7. Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.
